Our plans to visit Death Valley were postponed because of flooding causing damage to roads and bridges. My plan to visit Kolob Canyon at Zion National Park was also prevented by damage from floods along the East Kolob Canyon Road. Further research showed another road on the west side of Zion: North Kolob Terrace Road (also known as Kolob Reservoir Road) which can be accessed from Virgin, Utah.
