Wildlife in the park includes many species such as moose, black bears, coywolves, lynx, beavers, porcupines, snowshoe hares, mink, and ermine. Whale watchers can see Minke whales, Fin whales, Humpback whales, and Blue whales.
Numerous birds species (246) have been seen here and 125 species nest here. Along the cliffs, perfect for breeding, seabirds such as black-legged kittiwakes, double-crested cormorants, black guillemots, and razorbills are plentiful. Great blue herons, terns, gulls, and sandpipers inhabit shorelines, and more than two dozen inland raptor species include northern harriers, American kestrel, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, and great horned owls.
