Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park, British Columbia
Like Valhalla Provincial Park, Kokanee Glacier Provincial Park is located in the Selkirk Mountains. The park straddles the crest of mountain ridges between Slocan Lake and Kootenay Lake.

Kokanee Lake is ¾ of a mile long a ¼ mile wide; surrounded by precipitous cliffs and rock slides, it is an alpine jewel. The hike in is about 2.8 miles, for an elevation gain of 1,460 feet.

People who camp overnight have to protect their cars from porcupines by surrounding them with chicken wire. The porcupines will chew on tires and brake lines, apparently to get salt. I saw this in Valhalla Provincial Park, also.
