East side of Lake Superior – Pukaskwa National Park
Pukaskwa National Park is known for its vistas of Lake Superior and boreal forests. The park covers an area of 725 square miles, and protects part of the longest undeveloped shoreline anywhere on the Great Lakes. The rock that was sculpted by the continental glacier during the ice ages is over 3 billion years old.
