Table Rock State Park, SC
Table Rock State Park is one of the most popular parks in South Carolina. With its massive granite dome for a backdrop, the park was among the group of original CCC Table Rock Lake – Table Rock State Park parks first established in 1933. Table Rock Mountain, reaching 3157 feet, marks the southern end of the Appalachian Mountain Chain. This area, sometimes called the Blue Wall, makes up a remarkable stretch of parkland and mountain preserves along Route 11. Table Rock State Park occupies 3000 acres of this Blue Ridge Mountain land and provides some of the most challenging hiking trails in the state’s 47 park inventory.
