Palouse Falls State Park
On the way from Lewiston, Idaho to Dry Falls, Washington, I stopped at Palouse Falls State Park in Washington. This is an example of the erosion caused by the Missoula floods. For scale, the falls are 165 feet tall and enpty into a circular pit a quarter mile across. The flood waters were above the highest land in the picture.
