Albuquerque and Petroglyph National Monument
Both of us had been to Albuquerque before and had seen some of the sights previously. We had some time to see a few things before Larry caught his airplane so we saw the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology (smaller than expected, a little out of date), the New Mexico Museum of Natural History (outstanding) and the Museum of Albuquerque (very good). We also stopped by Petroglyph National Monument and saw a few petroglyphs on a hill. We did not look further as there were no signs that the Monument was much larger and we missed seeing hundreds of other petroglyphs.
