Redwoods National Park and the Pacific Coast, California
After I left Crater Lake, I headed for the Pacific coast of California. I got to drive through a redwood grove and walk through one. Very impressive. The tree in the picture is 20 feet in diameter (redwoods are the tallest trees on earth). When I stayed at Crescent City, California I was serenaded during the night by sea lions 2 blocks away. I followed Highway 101 south, sometimes between redwoods and sometimes along the rocky coast.
